TED Style Speaking Master Class - Free video series!
As Game Changers, we’re interested in having a big impact during our time on this planet. But how can we have the maximum impact with the minimum effort? How can we leverage system change? In short - how does change actually happen?
We’ll be pondering that question with two game changing ladies in the thick of creating change – Harpinder Collacott, Chief Executive of Development Initiatives who’s on a mission to eradicate global poverty and Kayla Ente, Founder & CEO of Brighton & Hove Energy Services Cooperative, who is tackling climate change by introducing a local, renewable energy supply business model.
And of course, you’ll be in the room too, along with 20 or so other game changing female leaders. You may be experienced in creating change yourself, be grappling with the challenge of creating change, or be a curious bystander – all backgrounds are welcome.
Together we’ll ponder on the merits of evolution versus revolution; on building consensus versus forcing a change through. We’ll look at the personal fears that hold us back from being the leader that our change needs. And we’ll share practical tips on how to make change happen - from building a scalable model, to influencing policy change.
I have a feeling that is going to be a popular and lively dinner – I’m looking forward to a damn good debate and lots of stories of successes and failures.

A great experience. Tremendous learning in just a few hours. Very well organised. Great dedication and professionalism of the coaches. I'd definitely recommend to everyone.
I was very impressed by the planning – the schedule was thoughtful and well managed, with strong session facilitation. I was extremely satisfied with the quality of feedback, not just to myself but to the other speakers throughout the event. I enjoyed the opportunities to put into practice the theory and techniques of TED talks.
Even though i have experience as a teacher and trainer there were so many aspects of this day that added to my understanding and skills. All teachers should do it!
I learned from Ginger that you can become a good speaker - it doesn't matter that you were not born as Barack Obama.
The training I received impacted me on both a business and a personal level. Some of the most important impacts for me:
- I can pitch to the senior management team with confidence.
- I can present my ideas with confidence.
- I am much more comfortable with impromptu speaking.
- I am comfortable sharing my opinions in a large group of people.
- I feel I have found my voice.
Personally I am so much more confident, happier in my own skin and I feel that a world of opportunities has opened up to me
Ginger offer public speaking training for emerging leaders and change makers. We emphasise authentic, fresh and courageous communication, including delivering TED style talks.More about Ginger >
