TED Style Speaking Master Class - Free video series!
As part of an encore performance by the ladies of Cambridge, Game Changers is on tour with a diversity orientated BANG that aims to challenge our thinking around a topic that’s dear to many of the network.
Consider this: fine company, fine food and stimulating table conversation with Ugo Ojike, MD at Accenture and BAME champion and Helen Needham, Managing Principal at Capco and founder of Me.Decoded for the neurodiverse. Tasty, right?
In the spirit of practice-what-you preach, we’re going to take a ‘diverse’ look at the Diversity & Inclusion agenda, challenging and critiquing some of the group think that’s emerged and asking ourselves isn’t there a better way?
We’ll ponder on these questions and look for practical ideas that can be implemented. Permission to get spicy, opinionated and to try out new thinking, whilst knowing that we remain a community of idealists who want to bring about positive change. So, throw all political correctness aside, and jump into a good old fashioned debate.

If you weren’t at the Game Changers Summit, or haven't attended a Game Changers Dinner, we’d like you to write a one sentence introduction to your game changing activities. We’ll share this and your name and company with the other participants unless you tell us otherwise. Say something bold or unusual that would draw someone to connect with you (this article shows you what to think about).

I was very impressed by the planning – the schedule was thoughtful and well managed, with strong session facilitation. I was extremely satisfied with the quality of feedback, not just to myself but to the other speakers throughout the event. I enjoyed the opportunities to put into practice the theory and techniques of TED talks.
Excellent training, I really believe it will help me to be more inspiring.
The training I received impacted me on both a business and a personal level. Some of the most important impacts for me:
- I can pitch to the senior management team with confidence.
- I can present my ideas with confidence.
- I am much more comfortable with impromptu speaking.
- I am comfortable sharing my opinions in a large group of people.
- I feel I have found my voice.
Personally I am so much more confident, happier in my own skin and I feel that a world of opportunities has opened up to me
I enjoyed the day, learned a lot and had the opportunity to explore my public speaking style in a great group setting.
Thank you so much for the session it was incredibly enlightening, powerful, gentle and intense, pushing me to explore what was outside of my comfort zone but in a safe context.
